Its sad, when you see a series and you feel that possibly the makes have put in all sorts of effort to make this entertaining, but the whole story and screenplay was so directionless in this series, it was a joke. Just about anything was happening at any point. It was very very random. Clearly there are fair share of bad Filipino BL series too. This was 8 episodes of about 20-25 minutes each.
Bryce lives alone in Manila and so does Josh. We then meet Bart, who lives in the countryside. He is an orphan and has never left his village. His best friend is Brenda, who also lives in the village. One day when Bryce comes to the village, His car breaks down and he ends up spending the night with Bart. Since Bart always wants to go to big city, Bryce invites him. Turns out Bryce and John are best friends and work in a modeling agency. Bryce comes to the city and also get a job with the same agency. Before you realize, suddenly out of nowhere Bryce and Bart are in love and Josh is full of anger and jealousy. A random tik-tok guy Edward comes into the pic and professes his love for Bart, which randomly disappears. After Josh apologizes to both Bryce and Bart separately and thinks seem to be going ok, Bryce decides to go to New York to be with his parents and Bart comes back to the village.
I am not really sure what was the point that the makers were trying to show. Was the title referring to home is where your heart is and learn to live alone and don't see dreams? I am not sure. The love and attraction between Bryce and Bart happens out of nowhere. They are having lots of food and suddenly they are about to kiss. Edward's track was to just break Brenda's heart and give an opportunity for Josh and Brenda to mull over why don't people love you back. I mean, they hardly know each other. Why would they even have such a heart to heart talk? The story meandered around like it was full of random events. Every episode would have a song for no reason with shots from previous episodes. Again not sure what the hell were they thinking. The ending was so random and bizarre and it made absolutely no sense at all. ON a bright side, the boys were all good looking, especially Edward (in his very short role) and Brenda does provide good comic relief. But besides that I would not really recommend this show at all. It is a sheer waste of time. (3/10)
