I think the idea behind this movie was really interesting and different. It tells the story of a brutal attack on a gay man in Chile, which is a very serious subject, similar to the Matthew Shepard case in the US. However, it feels like the people who made the film weren't quite sure how to tell the story. The movie wanders around a lot, and many scenes are confusing because it's hard to tell what point the director is trying to make. The first part of the movie was actually quite good and I was excited to see where it went, but then it completely changes. It spends way too much time showing the dad being sad and frustrated, and the most annoying part is that the movie doesn't really have an ending or any answers. The story is about a teenager named Pablo who is around 17 or 18. He lives with his dad, Juan, who is a single father and always busy with work. Homo Heights

I had read a lot of articles how this film has some of the best one-liners in this gay camp comedy. I mean, I wasn't expecting any earth shattering cinema, but these kind of films are really not my cup of tea. Maybe 10 years back, but not these days. The background music was so loud that it was really hard to even understand what's unfolding on the screen.

Homo Heights is a gay community in town. An older man Malcolm is somewhat of an idol in that community. He wants to move on and leave the town but the gay-mafia boss, a drag-queen named Maria Callous, needs Malcolm in town to keep her power. Then there is a plethora of characters that keep showing up in what I would call a completely disjointed, confusing mess.

There are so many side plots in this movie it takes until about 3/4 into the film that you actually understand where everyone stands. I was watching the film but it was as if my brain has refused to function. I couldn't fathom. Thank God for the fast forward button. There is so much of culture reference which I had no idea about. After a point, I really couldn't care less. I mean, I have seen camp movies before even though they are not my thing, but this one was just extremely disappointing. I mean, I don't even wanna waste time writing anything meaningful to just dismiss the film completely. (0.5/10)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. The film may not be the best, but it does have a noble intention to remind everyone of the evil affects of drugs and combining that with sex. Ah Zhe is in a happy relationship with his influencer boyfriend. On his partner's birthday, they end up going to a party, which interestingly is being hosted at a drug dealer's house and this is where for the first time he is exposed to the world of drugs. The duo somehow do it just enough and come back home but next day Ah She gets invited by the dealer Xiao Fei for a meal. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground.
