Apparently, this show is the third and final chapter in the My Day series. I have not sen the first two in question but I can assure you that this can still be seen on its own. Even if you have seen the first two, it will not change the fact that this series is really bad and a colossal waste of time of watching nothingness, silly drama, odd people and just bad. The show stretches for 13 whole episodes of almost 40 minutes each, which I guess one can watch the fist two and last two episodes and completely leave the middle ones and you would not miss a thing.
Zeke lives with his boyfriend Fifth and two other students in some sort of house/PG accommodation. It seems their's is a perfect love story till the appearance of a new guy Kevin. Kevin keeps trying to chat with Zeke who keeps rebuffing him. Kevin pleads Fifth to introduce him to Zeke which eventually happens. Turns out Kevin is someone who Zeke loved before but Kevin refused his proposal then and now he wants Zeke in his life. Out of nowhere, he changes his attitude and starts to notice Kevin and starts treating Fifth with indifference. Zeke gaslights both Fifth and Kevin. He makes Kevin feel guilty about the past and mistreats him all the time, while at the same time letting him get closer and giving him hope. On the other hand, Zeke makes Fifth feel like he's in the wrong for being jealous of Kevin, even though Fifth did nothing wrong. Fifth and Zeke break and latter goes back home. Suddenly he realizes he loves Fifth and some dramatic moments he goes back. Besides this main love story, there are many other parallel stories. The other two roommates fall for this bad boy in school who uses both of them , so they take their revenge. The school dean falls for a new PE teacher who is always jealous of the dean talking to others. We have this girl, who tries to woo two professional guys at the same time and what happens wit her. And the there is also this little lesbian love story brewing.
The first thing that everyone will notice is why so many characters. There is absolutely no need. You could eliminate more than half of those and would make absolutely zero difference to the show. And also with the main story, it made no sense. The things that these boys do and the decisions they take are absurd. Zeke is clearly as asshole with the way he behaves but somehow is made out to be the victim of love. Why would Fifth help Zeke reconnect with his ex. Also why would he let Zeke treat him like shit and still go back to him? When the couple gets back together, Fifth apologizes to Zeke , which should have been the other way round. There are way too many problems with this couple. Moving over to all the other stories, the less said the better. Not one of them was remotely interesting or added any true value. To bring some sizzle the makers added very sexual dialogues and some sex scenes between a school bad boy and the other two roommates and the whole situation did not fit well in the overall demeanor of the show. Despite me watching the show with one finger firmly on fast forward, it is still making me angry on why would people make shows so bad like this one. (2.5/10)
