I'm honestly not sure why I keep watching these Signal 23 gay shows. I guess they're a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, and I usually tune in just hoping to see some hot Black guys or a few decent hookup scenes. The problem is that these series almost never have a real plot, and the acting and directing are always super amateur and just plain bad. Unfortunately, this one didn't even have the "eye candy" going for it, as most of the guys weren't even that attractive. The whole thing is really short, only six episodes, and each one lasts about 12 to 14 minutes. The main guy in the story is D, a young 16 year old Black guy who is basically at his sexual peak and spent his summer just looking for action. In the first episode, he meets a 19-year-old online for a hookup, but the kid’s dad walks in right in the middle of things and kicks D out. What's The Matter With Gerald

This film, according to me, fall in the "wtf is the film trying to say" category. There are scenes that go on forever, a wafer thin plot and a dragged uninteresting direction that doesn't hold any interest at all for the viewers. I am really amazed at the glaring reviews that this film has online.

Gerald is a 30-something gay man, whose father pays for everything and who has never worked in his life. He lives with his partner of 10 years. Every morning he wakes up with some sort of pain and builds up all kinds of medical conditions in his mind. On the advice of a friend he consults an energy healer. a foul-mouthed, chain-smoking jeweler, and is shocked when the gemstones she sells him magically ease his pain. This unexpected stroke of luck prompts Gerald to reexamine his life in new and unexpected ways, taking him out of a well-established rut and leading him to wonder whether he can make the necessary changes to be more fulfilled. These include meeting a new neighbor and visits from his past boyfriends as ghosts. He breaks up with his boyfriend and starts a new life.

The story was just so random. Even though I saw the film, I still don't understand what was the real problem with Gerald. Was his lack of confidence, self-respect, mother, or something else? There is absolutely no chemistry whatsoever between his husband and him and the actors seem pretty wooden to me. As an actor, I think Gerald does a decent job but thats all lost in the weird storyline and no character development at all. What is the real problem with him was never addressed and I still keep repeating the title. Not only is whats the matter with Gerald, but also What's the matter with people wanting to make a movie on this odd subject. The mother in another annoying character with this fake madeup accent that makes no sense. A lot of people online say that this movie was funny. I didn't even smile even for a second in the entire film and am amazed at what kind of things people laugh at these days.

Do not waste your time. Completely avoidable. (2/10)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. The film may not be the best, but it does have a noble intention to remind everyone of the evil affects of drugs and combining that with sex. Every person has their own unique way of dealing with loss. This film is as much a psychological thriller as it is a soft porn BDSM portrayal of two young men that makes the film overall horrifying as well as humane. It is really hard to describe the genre of this film in one word. Its important not that the film has some really disturbing scenes so if you go into seeing this film, please proceed with caution. Although any sexual non-consensual activity is not ok, this film has its won strange way of showing that suicide is not the only solution to all life's problems. Makoto is a regular office goer, who just finds out that his girlfriend is probably cheating on him. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground. Meanwhile Shibahara continues the search for Seiya (the guy who had cut off Haruto's penis). It turns out Seiya is now also taking care of the original club owner from part 1.
