Aston, a young man, is struggling to pay his bills due to pandemic. He has lost his job and he is currently house sitting for his mother who just passed away. He has a boyfriend, who is now stuck in Europe somewhere because of quarantine requirements. To make ends meet, he thinks of getting into webcam porn. He meets a young Twink gay Jake on one of the websites, who agrees to teach him the ropes of this world, of course for money. From here on, we see many instances of how Aston has first few awkward encounters, how he tries to create his own "thing" that will increase his followers, how to up his game while also continually learning more form Jake. While all this is going on, a handy mean is fixing the house since its as already paid for, and there seems to be some sexual chemistry between them (which leads to a very weird finale of the season). That's pretty much what this 6 part mini series is all about.
As I said, the show, in disguise of entertainment, seems more as an education manual for those trying to get into this field of work. As actor, Aston just lacked the charm and innocence that you would expect of the character. He just did on't do it for me. But then, good luck finding an actor, who would be ok to be naked showing his dick for almost half the duration of the show. On the contrast, his 'guru' Jake brings in the charm and charisma that's needed to keep the audience hooked. The way he gave Aston tips, recommendations, suggestions was all spot on. The shy, introvert, I don't know what I am doing look that Aston tries to keep throughout the show just didn't work for him. Also , do not get food by how sexy and hot he looks in the poster. He doesn't look anything like this in the show. At 6 episodes , just keep fast forwarding if you are looking for something substantial. Watch it only if you are keen to know how the whole porn cam world works and how maybe you can increase making money out there. There are all kinds of fetish lovers out there. (4/10)
