Marco Berger has come out with another movie that’s really beautiful and sexy, but it’s definitely not like the ones he usually makes where guys are just full of sexual tension. This one is filmed in black-and-white and looks amazing. The director found a really weird way to show how humans connect and how sexuality works by using a "man as a dog" idea. It’s a pretty strange but interesting movie that makes you think. The story takes place in a world that’s parallel to ours, where two straight couples are on vacation on an island. You see two guys on a boat calling out to someone, and then this naked, lonely, and really good-looking guy shows up. In this dreamy kind of world, the group calls him a "man," but he basically acts like a pet dog. In this setup, the word "men" refers to naked male humans that people own as pets, just like we own dogs. People are scared of stray men just like they're scared of stray dogs. Partners (TV Series)

Touted as the show by the makers of "Will & Grace", Partners is an American comedy TV show, which was cancelled only after season 1, which is amity because the show wasn't bad at all. I am pretty sure that there was some political game for canceling the show because the prime channel didn't even bother to air the entire season 1 completely.

Partners centers around 4 people, but 3 relationships anchored with the main characters Louis and Joe. Louis is gay and has been there for Joe since childhood. The two are partners in architectural firm who consistently delve into each others lives meddling wherever they can. The two, who have a codependent relationship are trying to navigate their own relationships while maintaining their friendship. Louis lives with his under-the-top hunk of a boyfriend Wyatt and Joe has just proposed to his girlfriend Ali. The episodes focus on the bromance between the 2 guys and how each of these characters interfere in each other's life. Every episode focuses on different adventures that these guys get themselves involved with.

Promoting a show by the makers of "Will & Grace" creates huge expectations and high standards. Unfortunately this show never established the depth of story or emotional ties that we had with the characters of that show. Doesn't mean to say this show was bad, but I think there were way too many repetitions and similar gags being repeated. They were all funny initially but started getting a little flat after a while. Both the lead actors Joe and Louis are good. Joe was surprisingly quite good IMO. Brandon Routh as Wyatt was definitely unite funny in a weird sense of way. Wyatt was a very original concept and I would have loved to have seen that developed further. I don't want to forget to mention the secretary who would occasionally show up and crack me up with her antics. The dialogues were good but not snappy enough as one expects these days. The makers tried their best, I am sure, but it didn't always seem to work.

All in all, its a mildly amusing lighthearted show that you won't regret watching and don't really get very upset that it got cancelled. (6/10)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. The film may not be the best, but it does have a noble intention to remind everyone of the evil affects of drugs and combining that with sex. Every person has their own unique way of dealing with loss. This film is as much a psychological thriller as it is a soft porn BDSM portrayal of two young men that makes the film overall horrifying as well as humane. It is really hard to describe the genre of this film in one word. Its important not that the film has some really disturbing scenes so if you go into seeing this film, please proceed with caution. Although any sexual non-consensual activity is not ok, this film has its won strange way of showing that suicide is not the only solution to all life's problems. Makoto is a regular office goer, who just finds out that his girlfriend is probably cheating on him. ON top of it, his parents sudden death coming back from a trip that he forced them to take, he gets completely dejected and decides to commit suicide. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground. Meanwhile Shibahara continues the search for Seiya (the guy who had cut off Haruto's penis). It turns out Seiya is now also taking care of the original club owner from part 1.
