I think the idea behind this movie was really interesting and different. It tells the story of a brutal attack on a gay man in Chile, which is a very serious subject, similar to the Matthew Shepard case in the US. However, it feels like the people who made the film weren't quite sure how to tell the story. The movie wanders around a lot, and many scenes are confusing because it's hard to tell what point the director is trying to make. The first part of the movie was actually quite good and I was excited to see where it went, but then it completely changes. It spends way too much time showing the dad being sad and frustrated, and the most annoying part is that the movie doesn't really have an ending or any answers. The story is about a teenager named Pablo who is around 17 or 18. He lives with his dad, Juan, who is a single father and always busy with work. I Was A Teenage Werebear (Short Film)

The only reason I saw this film was for Sean Paul Lockhart, who I think is pretty cute. A short film of about 30 minutes, this was set as a musical on a beach and is meant to be cheesy and funny (which I did not  think so). If anything it was a little annoying.

Our main protagonist Ricky is in closet and has a girlfriend but can't help getting very attracted to the leader of a group of misfits at school. Talon, the group leader is yummy and Ricky just swoons over him and Taylor knows it. When Ricky is being bullied in school, Talon protects him. We soon se that Talon and his gang becomes a bear (gay term for bulky hairy guys). Because Ricky is now in love with Talon, he gets bitten and gets the same trait. Will their love for each other cure them?

Lockhart as Ricky is the only thing good about this movie. As a confused teenager, he brings good charm and goofiness in his character. It is good to see him move on from his porn days to doing a good job at true acting. Talon is also pretty good looking and fits the bill. All the other actors were over the top. Most of the scenes were supposed to be funny but they were just not my cup of tea. Or may be i just didn't get the humor. In either case, I would suggest that watch this film at your own behest. Since it is only 30 minutes long, you don't lose much even if you dislike it. (3.5/10)

Drug Shore (Chinese)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. The film may not be the best, but it does have a noble intention to remind everyone of the evil affects of drugs and combining that with sex. Ah Zhe is in a happy relationship with his influencer boyfriend. On his partner's birthday, they end up going to a party, which interestingly is being hosted at a drug dealer's house and this is where for the first time he is exposed to the world of drugs. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground. Meanwhile Shibahara continues the search for Seiya (the guy who had cut off Haruto's penis). It turns out Seiya is now also taking care of the original club owner from part 1.
