I'm The Most Beautiful Count (Thai Series)

I had such a blast watching this series, and honestly, it’s been a long time since I felt this way about a Thai BL. Lately, it feels like all these shows are starting to bleed together, especially those typical university romances, or everyone is jumping on the historical drama bandwagon. But this one was a totally different beast. By having the lead character identify as trans, the show finds this perfect sweet spot between drama, comedy, raw emotion, and even politics. I’ll get into the nitty-gritty, but the lead actor is a total riot. If it weren't for his addictive, over-the-top performance, I don't think the show would have worked nearly as well. It’s a 13-episode run, with each part lasting about 45 to 50 minutes. We’re introduced to Prince, a pop singer who is completely flamboyant and totally out of the closet. Bookends

What the hell was this film!! A buddy film where a few friends meet over alight could be so much more interesting. Rather, we get this film which is boring, confused, lackluster and laid with poor direction. Neither actors with their decent acting could save the film because the overall direction and screenplay was so confused and all over the place

The film starts with Russell and Brett getting ready for Donnie's birthday. Plans change and we see that everyone ends up coming to Russell's house for the birthday. We have Donnie and his new girlfriend, Gayle, a common friend with her fiancé and another girl. Donnie, Gayle and Brett were together in school at some point. Brett keeps traveling to NY since he is into music and keeps looking for girls for one night stands. Some random scenes with the film sometimes going back to a year, sometimes, few hours, sometimes few months. What I ultimately got out was that Russell likes Brett, Brett likes Gayle who is engaged and some other confusion.

I have seen many independent films but this film was just so boring. If I was in one of those parties as shown in the film, I would have walked away because it would have been so fucking boring. And whats up with constant time shifting. It just adds to the confusion because all the characters look and behave exactly the same way. Acting was bad by pretty much everyone. I think Russell was the only saving grace. And please! this is NOT a gay film by any means. There were no details provided or explanations given on what was going on between Russell and Brett. Why was Brett so mean to Russell and why was he taking all that shot from him when Brett is clearly straight. Its a regular independent film where Russell happens to be gay but despite all this the film is still plain boring.

Unengaging and very uninteresting. (1.5/10)

Every person has their own unique way of dealing with loss. This film is as much a psychological thriller as it is a soft porn BDSM portrayal of two young men that makes the film overall horrifying as well as humane. Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. The film may not be the best, but it does have a noble intention to remind everyone of the evil affects of drugs and combining that with sex. Ah Zhe is in a happy relationship with his influencer boyfriend. On his partner's birthday, they end up going to a party, which interestingly is being hosted at a drug dealer's house and this is where for the first time he is exposed to the world of drugs. The duo somehow do it just enough and come back home but next day Ah She gets invited by the dealer Xiao Fei for a meal. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground. Meanwhile Shibahara continues the search for Seiya (the guy who had cut off Haruto's penis). It turns out Seiya is now also taking care of the original club owner from part 1.
