The Journey To Killing You (Japanese Series)

This dark gritty Japanese BL is something I was not expecting. The story focuses on a Yakuza bodyguard  assigned to kill his young boss. The premise sounds interesting but the execution was just weird. There were lot of problems with the show like violence, abuse, coercion and even forcing themselves sexually. Eventually it somewhere becomes. BL with some nonsense stuff. Thankfully the series was only 6 episodes of about 26-30 minutes each. Kataoka is a respected yakuza leader. His boss has grown old and frail, unable to manage the organization anymore. Leadership now falls to the boss's son, Keito. He assigns Odajima as Kataoka's new handler to keep him in check. Kataoka is impulsive and treats Odajima aslmost as a servant even forcing sex on him. But beneath the rough exterior, Kataoka occasionally reveals a gentler side. Odajima, on the other hand,  is stoic and distant, keeping his emotions under tight control. What Kataoka doesn't know is that Odajima has a hidden agen...

This one was such a weird, odd and completely not needed plot and film thus adding to the number of trash gay films that are made in LGBT circuit. It was worse than a vampire horror slasher film, not that I have seen any of those either. I am going to keep the story and everything else very simple just because I dont want to waste more time on writing this piece adding to the time already wasted on watching the film. When a one-night stand turns mild-mannered Ajay into a vampire, he struggles to come to terms with his unquenchable thirst for blood. Roaming the streets, car parks and video stores of Hollywood for fresh kill, the lifestyle of a fanged murderer isn't one that Ajay is particularly proud of. Enlisting the help of his best friends, wide-eyed and innocent straight kid Teague and randy sex-fiend Floor, the trio embark on a trip to Las Vegas to put all of the slaughtering and senseless killing behind them. However, the brief thrill of boozing and clubbing until the early hours does nothing to put Ajay's mind at rest, and he quickly falls back into his vampiric habits. The film is as absurd as it gets. The acting of all 3 characters was sooooooo bad. There is a side story of a trashy romance between a boy and girl. Some random scenes with porn stars. I would have applauded the film makers for trying something new in gay genre but then this was just pathetic. Stay away. Run as far as you can. (0.5/10)

Every person has their own unique way of dealing with loss. This film is as much a psychological thriller as it is a soft porn BDSM portrayal of two young men that makes the film overall horrifying as well as humane. Drug Shore (Chinese)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. The film may not be the best, but it does have a noble intention to remind everyone of the evil affects of drugs and combining that with sex. Ah Zhe is in a happy relationship with his influencer boyfriend. On his partner's birthday, they end up going to a party, which interestingly is being hosted at a drug dealer's house and this is where for the first time he is exposed to the world of drugs. The duo somehow do it just enough and come back home but next day Ah She gets invited by the dealer Xiao Fei for a meal. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground. Meanwhile Shibahara continues the search for Seiya (the guy who had cut off Haruto's penis). It turns out Seiya is now also taking care of the original club owner from part 1.
