Hot Brother Next Door (Vietnamese Series)

This Vietnamese show isn't exactly groundbreaking, but it definitely keeps you hooked. It’s a quick watch with 10 episodes that only last about 15 to 20 minutes each, and even though it uses all the usual BL tropes, it really works because you can't help but root for the underdog. The romance actually takes its time to show up and then wraps up pretty fast, but the characters still feel way more relatable than in a lot of other shows like this. The story follows Phuc, who moves from Hanoi to Saigon to open his dream bar and live with his girlfriend. Things go sideways immediately when he arrives a day early to surprise her and catches her cheating, so he breaks up with her and leaves. He ends up reaching out to his old childhood neighbors, Cong and his sister Han, who he hasn't seen in years. The siblings are struggling on their own with a massive debt and Han’s poor health. Der bewegte Mann (German) [Maybe... Maybe Not]

This film was different. It was a different kind of comedy film where emotions also played a strong part. It is also a bot different from the regular gay films that you get to see. So anything that somewhat different and is done good, I appreciate it. Axel's girlfriend of 3 years Doro catches him redhanded having sex with some random woman. She throws him out of the house. None of Axel's ex-girlfriends help him live with them even thouh he is so good looking. Certain events bring him to a discussion group of men which is also attended by a gay guy Walter who proposes to Alex that he can live with him. In a drunk state Axel thinks that Walter wants him for physical reasons, he decides to stay with Walter's friend Norbert. He is happy because of course Norbert likes him. Norbert is the kind of guy who falls in love with anyone and likes the idea of relationship. He helps Axel with everything but Axel makes clear that he is not gay although he doesn't mind getting naked in front of Norbert getting his hopes up. When Doro finds that she is pregnant and decides to get Axel back. She finds him in her own bed with unsightly Norbert, disturbingly naked, in the middle of a very inept seduction. Despite this awkward reunion, Axel and Doro get married. Axel unceremoniously drops Norbert because his wife is 'allergic to gays'. Axel stays away from Norbert until he misses some friendly moments with him. He is not very sexually active with Doro because of her pregnancy but is very horny. When he meets his ex-college friend, they decide to hook up and Axel asks for Norberts place. When Doro suspects something, the comedy of errors start where Doro suspecting Axel to be gay while reality is different. The ending has a nice feeling and suggests some reconciliation between Norbert and Axel. It's way too little, too late. The movie was funny mostly and has its moments. Axel was really very hot. Gays can so drool over him. Acting wise also everything was pretty cool. Overall I enjoyed the film because it was funny, realistic, something you could relate to. It doesn't bore you. Try it, you wont be disappointed. (6.5/10)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. The film may not be the best, but it does have a noble intention to remind everyone of the evil affects of drugs and combining that with sex. Ah Zhe is in a happy relationship with his influencer boyfriend. Every person has their own unique way of dealing with loss. This film is as much a psychological thriller as it is a soft porn BDSM portrayal of two young men that makes the film overall horrifying as well as humane. It is really hard to describe the genre of this film in one word. Its important not that the film has some really disturbing scenes so if you go into seeing this film, please proceed with caution. Although any sexual non-consensual activity is not ok, this film has its won strange way of showing that suicide is not the only solution to all life's problems. Makoto is a regular office goer, who just finds out that his girlfriend is probably cheating on him. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground. Meanwhile Shibahara continues the search for Seiya (the guy who had cut off Haruto's penis). It turns out Seiya is now also taking care of the original club owner from part 1.
