A Revry original,  Unconventional  is a really well-liked queer dramedy that feels totally different from the usual stuff. The heart of the story is about two pretty eccentric queer siblings and their partners trying to build a family that doesn't follow the traditional rules. It takes a super raw and unfiltered look at queer life, diving deep into things like mental health, addiction, and how complicated identity and relationships can get. It’s not afraid to get messy or show people at their most vulnerable, and it really pushes boundaries while showing a lot of different queer experiences. The first season has nine episodes, and each one is about a half-hour long. The story centers on Noah, a grad student who’s been struggling for years to wrap up his PhD. He’s been with his husband, Dan, for nine years, and they’ve recently gotten married and moved to Palm Springs. Men's Mix One (Short Films)

This is a mix collection of gay short films. The primary focus in this series has been th award winning sort flms in various film festivals.

"Blurs" - A young teen boy sees 3 drag queens one day and decided to check out his mom's closet. His parents fearing the worse make him go to wrestling and do other things but when the boy tells about a old man chasing him, the mom puts her foot down and gets a dog instead.
"Touched" - This is set in Philadelphia's gay night life. A sex starved middle aged casting director Mike meets this young handsome man and they come home. We ultimately fid out that young man is homeless because he screwed up his life with drugs and his wife and kid left him. A very touching story when ultimately Mike feels he touched the young man by holding him in his arms.
"10 Pesos" - A weird story of how a 10 peso note travels between different hands.
"Safe Journey" - The Kid has no money, no place to live and nowhere to go. The Man has lost the one he loves. He is losing his eyesight. He's selling all his possessions so nothing will be left to lose. Both are trapped, each alone until Fate brings them together one windy autumn night. A very nice story.
"Gaydar" - This one is hilarious. Everyone in the office is confused about his hot guy's sexual orientation and he keeps the people guessing and he knows it. A guy finds a gaydar machine in yard sale and decided to try it out. After a turn of events, the girl next to stop stops him from doing so because if they find out, one of them will be disappointed and they both want to continue to live in their fantasies.

I loved Touched and Gaydar. Blurs and Safe Journey were ok. 10 pesos was weird. Still watching short films is always fun. (5.5/10)

Apparently tis film was adapted by a true story Well, true or not, movies/series about drugs are not easy to watch. I have always said that drugs is like the end of life for anyone. For those who sink into this sea of addiction, some manage to swim upstream to recovery, while others cannot make it to the shore. The film may not be the best, but it does have a noble intention to remind everyone of the evil affects of drugs and combining that with sex. Ah Zhe is in a happy relationship with his influencer boyfriend. On his partner's birthday, they end up going to a party, which interestingly is being hosted at a drug dealer's house and this is where for the first time he is exposed to the world of drugs. Sei no Gekiyaku (Japanese) [Dangerous Drugs of Sex]

Every person has their own unique way of dealing with loss. This film is as much a psychological thriller as it is a soft porn BDSM portrayal of two young men that makes the film overall horrifying as well as humane. It is really hard to describe the genre of this film in one word. Its important not that the film has some really disturbing scenes so if you go into seeing this film, please proceed with caution. Although any sexual non-consensual activity is not ok, this film has its won strange way of showing that suicide is not the only solution to all life's problems. Makoto is a regular office goer, who just finds out that his girlfriend is probably cheating on him. ON top of it, his parents sudden death coming back from a trip that he forced them to take, he gets completely dejected and decides to commit suicide. The Shortest Distance is Round 3: Fallen Flowers

Continuing with the weird trilogy of "The Shortest Distance", I am so glad that finally I am done with part 3 and won't have to deal with this again in future. Thankfully, as of now the makers have not announced any further parts; which will save all of us on this earth from the embarrassment of watching this in near future. After the first 10 minutes are used in sort of recapping bits of first two parts, the story moves forward. Haruto is now starting to have feelings for Ruka, the mysterious pole dancer from second part. In a fit of rage, Ruka ends up killing the goat man and to save him and Haruto, Shibahara asks them to go underground. Meanwhile Shibahara continues the search for Seiya (the guy who had cut off Haruto's penis). It turns out Seiya is now also taking care of the original club owner from part 1.
