This Hindi movie is a pretty straightforward slice-of-life story that tries to give a modern look at what it's like to be a single, professional gay man. It dives into how he understands who he is, the chances he missed out on, and the personal choices he’s made along the way. The director used three parallel timelines to tell the story, which honestly didn't make much sense to me. While the core idea was actually pretty interesting, I really feel like this would have worked way better as a short film considering the point it was trying to make. Still, it wasn't a bad watch. The plot centers on Rachit, a city professional, and his friend Shikhar as they hang out for an evening. Rachit is a polished, urban guy, while Shikhar has more of a "small-town" rustic vibe, and you can really see the contrast between them when they talk. As the night goes on, Rachit starts thinking back to some old memories from a long time ago. He remembers being an intern after college in ...
Was this sequel needed? Probably not, but I am still not complaining. These vertical shows help me keep my mind on something while I use the treadmill. Having said that it was nice to see Gabe and Seb again in a familiar setting with the continuation of the story with some new people. Oh well, here we go.
Seb and Gabe are ow happily married but this season starts with Gabe getting attacked, while Seb is out in Mexico. When he. Comes back, he finds out that Gabe has amnesia, has lost his memory to certain extent and is. Now about to marry a girl. He tries to interfere the wedding but when he realizes that Gabe doesn't remember anything, he pulls back. He then gets himself hired as one of the bodyguards for Gabe and every time Gabe sees and touches Seb, he feels deja vu, as of he knows this man from somewhere. Meanwhile Gabe's wife wants to have sex with him but he keeps avoiding the situation and in th process keeps coming closer to Seb and spending more time with him. Meanwhile, one of Seb's assistant takes care of the wife's physical needs. The guy also ships Seb and Gabe (not knowing about their past) and nicknames them Sebriel. Anyway the show proceeds in a manner where the more time the two spend with one another, the more Gabe feels strong connection to Seb. But the villains are still out there to get them, notable the Romano mafia head (who happens to be Seb's uncle) and also Gabe's father and his wife (who is Italian mafia). Of course all is well in the end, when Gabe gets back all his memory when Seb gets shot by mafia but an older lady who has been helping out Gabe in his restaurant comes to the rescue. Lo Behold, turns out this lady is Seb's mother, who, as per Seb's uncle was dead. The happy couple are back together and bad guys get the boot.
This season has every trope from the first season with the added drama of Gabe's amnesia. He remembers some things from past but not all. I did like that he would get flashbacks every tie he was near Seb or touched him. So it was almost like watching Gabe and Seb fall in love all over again. The two actors felt more in their character this season which is understandable since they have lived it once. They still had great chemistry and both of them really look very fine and hot and sexy. We still get a few good kisses. Also, I liked the comic relief brought by Seb's good looking assistant who names them Sebriel. He was kinda cute. Overall, strictly ok, just like its predecessor. At least it was not stretched unnecessarily. (4.5/10)
