Honestly, this is one of the worst Thai BLs I’ve sat through in a long time. Just about everything that could go wrong with a show did go wrong here. The plot is incredibly weak and packed with so much filler that nothing meaningful ever actually happens. They try to give one character a backstory, but it adds absolutely zero value—if anything, it just makes the whole situation feel more ridiculous. The romances are totally flat, and they lean into those tired, "jealous female" clichés that are just so annoying to watch. The whole thing was a total train wreck across ten episodes that somehow dragged on for 55 minutes each.
The mess revolves around two main couples. You have Knight, who has been crushing on Mild for a while and constantly flirts with him to try and win him over. Mild’s older brother, Kan, used to be friends with Knight but now constantly tells him to stay away from Mild. Meanwhile, there’s this "casanova" type named Per who is chasing after Kan; Per has dated tons of women but decides he’s really into Kan. About halfway through, we get a flashback revealing that Kan once walked in on Knight lying on top of a sleeping Mild, looking like he was trying to assault him. It’s written so weirdly because if you actually thought someone tried to rape your brother, you’d call the cops, not just pester them about it for years. Knight eventually clears it up by saying he was just so drunk he collapsed on the bed and promises he didn't do anything. Mild, being super naive, just lets it go and accepts Knight’s love. As the other couple, Kan and Per, deal with their own drama, the show throws in a random, obsessed lover for Kan who literally tries to kill Per just to get Kan for himself. Everything somehow works out in the end, and there’s even a third side-couple involving Mild’s friends that honestly nobody cared about.
The series is every bit as absurd as that summary sounds. That whole attempted rape angle was so twisted and messy that I couldn't believe they actually went there. Then they try to walk it back by saying Knight just climbed on top of a sleeping Mild to kiss him and everyone else "imagined" the rest. It makes no sense—why wouldn't Mild remember what happened? He was just sleeping, not drunk or drugged. The way women are treated in this show is also pretty gross. They’re written like they aren't even human, just toys to be used and discarded, or annoying obsessed fans who chase after men who aren't interested. It’s like the writers think women don't have brains.
The script was just incredibly weak and lacked any kind of moral compass. Between the bad characterization and the questionable choices, almost everything this show stood for felt wrong. To top it off, the main couple had zero chemistry; their scenes were awkward and, honestly, a little cringey to watch. The dialogue was flat, and most of the scenes felt like they were just killing time until the episode ended. There is really nothing worth seeing here. Even without the problematic stuff, it’s just a forgettable, poorly written mess with zero spark between the leads. Do yourself a favor and skip this one entirely.
It’s a problematic and boring disaster that fails at basic storytelling and lacks any romantic spark, making it a complete waste of time. (1/10)
