This Hindi movie is a pretty straightforward slice-of-life story that tries to give a modern look at what it's like to be a single, professional gay man. It dives into how he understands who he is, the chances he missed out on, and the personal choices he’s made along the way. The director used three parallel timelines to tell the story, which honestly didn't make much sense to me. While the core idea was actually pretty interesting, I really feel like this would have worked way better as a short film considering the point it was trying to make. Still, it wasn't a bad watch. The plot centers on Rachit, a city professional, and his friend Shikhar as they hang out for an evening. Rachit is a polished, urban guy, while Shikhar has more of a "small-town" rustic vibe, and you can really see the contrast between them when they talk. EP 4 - Follow a day in the life of Nicole Paige Brooks as she hosts the 2025 Peachies Awards in Atlanta, Georgia.
EP 5 - Join Aja backas she shares more of her journey on the Haus of Aja UK Tour with sisters Kandy Muse, Xunami Muse, and Dahlia Sin. This was just an extension of first episode continuing with the fun banter of the group.
EP 6 - Join Aguascalientes diva, Serena Morena, for a weekend adventure in Mexico! He has a full time corporate job during the day as a HR manager and does drag at night. We also witness support from his family and how he wants to celebrate his grandma's birthday.
EP 7 - Lexi from Season 17 shares a behind-the-scenes look into her personal life and drag career.
EP 8 - Get ready for Godessa universe domination with M1ss Jade So! We go over her journey of living in Singapore, doing drag in Asia and how she takes a break between the hectic schedule.
Personally, I am not much into drag shows in person on TV and am likely one of the very few gays who has never seen Ru Paul's show, but one thing has been very clear to me is that doing drag is passion and people who it have my utmost regard and respect, It takes so much hard work, passion, makeup, artistry and creativity - Hats off! It is not easy to do it but looking at some of these behind the scenes makes me believe the true love that these artists have. (5/10)

The movie is called "Las apariencias engañan" or Deceptive Appearances.
It's probably one of the first LGBT movies made in Mexico. It's from the same director of "Doña Herlinda and her son", so you can expect the same kind of movie, more like a "slice of life" than a big drama.
It was forbidden in Mexico due to censorship by the government for 5 years, done in 1978 but got a premiere in 1983.
It has only been available on a old vhs copy, but the director (who died in 2020) did a rescan himself from a the negative aprox in 2010, he shared with me a dvd copy and I upscaled the image with AI from that scan to HD.
Also I retouched the audio with AI, isolating all the voices, then scene by scene I had to level the voices and ambient sound so it can be clearer to understand in spanish.
The film never got english subtitles or an english release in any country, so I did the subtitles myself (with the help of google translate) but I would also like you to give me your thoughts on that since english is not my first language, I plan to share them in the future, but I want them to be good.
