This Hindi movie is a pretty straightforward slice-of-life story that tries to give a modern look at what it's like to be a single, professional gay man. It dives into how he understands who he is, the chances he missed out on, and the personal choices he’s made along the way. The director used three parallel timelines to tell the story, which honestly didn't make much sense to me. While the core idea was actually pretty interesting, I really feel like this would have worked way better as a short film considering the point it was trying to make. Still, it wasn't a bad watch. The plot centers on Rachit, a city professional, and his friend Shikhar as they hang out for an evening. Rachit is a polished, urban guy, while Shikhar has more of a "small-town" rustic vibe, and you can really see the contrast between them when they talk. As the night goes on, Rachit starts thinking back to some old memories from a long time ago. He remembers being an intern after college in ...

In the tumbleweed coastal retirement community of Porthpunnet, Luka cares for his bedridden mother. One day he meets Dan, a young manwho lives in a camper van and shares his interest in art. Initially he sees Dan as a kindred spirit until Dan proves to be gay. This film could have been much more interesting but I think a lame ending was the fault.
Downing
Amidst a vibrant house party, John, the isolated local gay lad, finds an opportunityto exact revenge on his straight oppressor, the popular and handsome Daniel. Boykisses boy, drinking, fucking and regret: just another teenage party. This film was great. I loved it for a short film.
All Over Brazil
It's the summer of 1974 and Scotland face Yugoslavia in the group stage of the football World Cup. But Stephen seems more interested inthe world of Glam Rock than football. His father initially despises him and come around very soon. I loved the end when the father welcomes his sons d daughter home with some breakfast.
Man and Boy
A man invites a boy into his flat and offers to take pictures of him. But he does that because the boy literally forces himself on him asking for cigarette. To most this would seem suspicious in the extreme, to the few it is an innocent offer of friendship. Which way do you see it? Very very interesting take.

As long as I"m here, I can't say it's great art, but there's a cute short movie on youtube "Atraccion" by Oscar Kid from Chile. I had seen it about a year ago when looking for Spanish language films to practice learning the language. I went back to rewatch it and saw it now had English subtitles. I thought I would post in hope the young director would get some more views and be encouraged to make more.
